A question I have about Pernille
The only band I ever heard of that was from Swindon was XTC —is it a musical town? And if it is, what band do you lead? (I realize you might not lead a band, but imagine if!)

Ah, she seems a treat. :-) I admire the dedication of someone not merely up for world travel both for itself and for larger goals, but who takes the trouble to mention Barenaked Ladies not once but twice in her 43things section. Though I’m neutral on them myself, I appreciate this level of dedication (and at the Sparks show last night someone I knew was talking about how she went into a show of theirs being too ‘cool’ for it and came out laughing her head off, so I figure Pernille would like that story!).
Clearly you’ve seen the movie, thought it was great. And it was, I agree. I think I will watch it again, just from stumbling on your nickname…
She’s doing most things on her 43 things! Amazing! Book the flight ticket and go… I love that spirit. And the volunteering, going towards people, all very bright looking. The world needs more people like this.
I was wondering what you’ll be doing in South Korea – I’m quite envious, I would love to visit there :)
Maybe you’ll smile at a stranger one day and it’ll be me :-)
Well I am going to volunteer in S. Korea, just a short 2 weeks, nothing compared to Papacito’s durations. Truth is, Live in PerĂ¹ is one of my goals, before I go living in Denmark. I have about a year and a half before I can actually go. Ya hablo espanol pero despacito entonces no hey ningun problema de este lado… :-) Pernille.
Oh my god, Peace Corp volunteer? the video on his website made me wanna pack my bags and go help someone. The smile on his face in pictures made me smile. The adventures in his backpack made me open my atlas. Can you tell me more about the volunteering Papacito?
